An Introduction to Audio Description of the Photos in the “Retratistas do Morro” Exhibition

Audio description makes a variety of visual content—such as performances, movies, TV shows, and photographs—accessible to people who are visually impaired or blind.
As part of the exhibition Portrait Artists of the Morro , the Institut pour la photographie invites you to learn the basics of audio description for the photographs in the exhibition. This workshop, open to everyone ages 10 and up, encourages us to explore how we interpret images and to reflect on the ways we can describe and share them.
