During her lifetime, Saeio produced a prolific and multifaceted body of work that began with graffiti and expanded into video, poetry, and performance. Her exploration of each medium enriched the others, resulting in a creative voice that no longer sought to distinguish between reality and fiction. We will discuss how the document itself is an object of creation in Saeio’s work. And how, now that the artist is no longer with us, we can document such a rich body of work—one that is rooted in the density of cities and intertwined with life itself.
