Concert/performance by the duo DEAD AS A DODO:

Claire Rolain and Julien Tortora’s electronic keyboards blend with Renaissance chants and minimalism, taking listeners on a journey through the animals’ habitats: plains, mountain peaks, ice floes, oceans, jungles, and skies. To accompany this journey, visual artist Noé Grenier created a video based on a series of photographs made by superimposing two images: that of an endangered animal and that of its natural habitat. Through his work, these animals and their habitats are fused into a single image, symbolizing those moments of transition when the natural habitat is being disrupted but it is still possible to take action.

Discovered by the collective Laisse Tomber les Filles, she’s been taking the city’s venues by storm with her sets featuring a diverse range of influences. From gommance to bouyon, with a detour through batida, she blends genres and eras. Having recently joined the Enlace Records roster, she’s sure to leave a lasting impression on everyone.
