The artist Dièze will be performing on November 19 and December 3 at the Institut pour la photographie at 3:00 p. m. And 5:00 p. m.
Dièze is the solo project of Diego Leyder, guitarist for Fondry and the (now-defunct) BRNS. Following two self-released volumes, “Hometapes #3” is his first solo album, released in an ultra-limited cassette edition on dear. deer. records in Belgium and Figures Libres Records in France last May.
On this collection of tracks, he paints melodic, impressionistic, and adventurous soundscapes with his guitar and effects pedals, exploring the twists and turns of delicate arpeggios, the nooks and crannies of playful polyrhythms, and the infinite possibilities of his effects. Listen up!
