Free rein for ESÄ and CAPV
Common Surface (Excerpt)
Presented from December 7 to 24, the “carte blanche” entrusted to Esä | Dunkerque-Tourcoing and the CAPV in Lille showcases the photographic work created by their students and teachers. Developed since 2017 at various heritage sites, this artistic research took the form of a residency at the Familistère de Guise in 2022–2023. The exhibition and its accompanying publication share the participants’ perspectives on the multiple realities inherent to this site, whether they pertain to space, family, privacy, work, or authority.
Participants: Souad Amadou, Margaux Dodard, Ivanne Boucaut, Constance Grafteaux, Zoé Jarboska, Philippe Julia, Richard Kowalski, Pénélope Limoges, Gaïa Mahé, Juan Ortega Zavala, Myriam Vanderheyden
