Azamat B
A founding member and DJ of the Southern mafia La Big Familia—a collective based in Perpignan and Montpellier—Azamat B has always refused to be pigeonholed into any particular musical genre.
From his involvement in the Montreal scene alongside Sinjin Hawke and M. Bootyspoon, to his work programming the La Calypso Festival and Vermeille, not to mention his involvement with and residency at Rinse France, he has been active for over 15 years.
Through his various projects, he has honed his technique and his ability to perform his selections without ever setting limits for himself.
Techno, R&B, Reggaeton, UK Garage, Jungle… his sets remain unpredictable and have taken him to perform all over the world, from the legendary Ministry of Sound in London to Piknic Electronik in Montreal, Razzmatazz in Barcelona, Concrete in Paris, and even the Magnetic Fields Festival in India.
With his ability to switch from one genre to another, the element of surprise remains a key part of each of his sets, and you never know what to expect!
