WEEDS

Last April, students at Lycée Louis Pasteur in Lille studied plants weeds , also known as weeds, that grow among the gravel and in the planters.  

They gathered, cataloged, drew, and photographed plants collected in their schoolyard. Then, together with artists Léo and Tom Delacressonnière and Hideyuki Ishibashi, they conceived and designed “garden books” that blend handmade paper, India ink drawings, poetry, cyanotypes, and film photographs.
