"Unseen" with David de Beyter

David De Beyter, the 2020 recipient of our Research and Creation Support Program, will be one of ten artists exhibiting at Unbound this year, an exhibition curated by Marcel Feil, former artistic director of the Foam Museum of Photography, which will take place as part of the Unseen art fair from September 17 to 19 in Amsterdam. David De Beyter will also be featured in a Duo Show at the Unseen fair with Galerie Bacqueville.
Each year, an independent external curator organizes an exhibition program and a symposium centered on a central theme. Through this theme, the exhibition is conceived as an exploration of new frontiers in photography.
With “Unbound,” “Unseen” is further committed to breaking the boundaries of conventional photography and exploring beyond traditional two-dimensional photographic prints through large-scale installations that evolve into installation art, video art, digital art, sculpture, and other art forms. The new section will feature a selection of 10 independent projects in the fair’s 700-square-meter Transformatorhuis hall.
