CREATING A FANZINE WITH PATHS PUBLISHING

Workshops

The Institute is pleased to welcome the PATHS Publishing for a fanzine-making workshop.

First appearing in the 1930s, fanzines are magazines produced by amateurs—originally created and distributed by science fiction enthusiasts. Fanzines are the result of a collaborative effort: doing everything yourself while incorporating other creative practices…

Come create your own fanzine in this workshop using Alain Rault’s calligraphy, hobos’ illustrations, Jimmy Taieb’s writings, engravings found in mastheads, and much more. The Amicale du Hibou-spectateur is making its photo archives available to you for this event.

Think, create, and take your fanzine home with you!

Saturday, November 13, and Sunday, November 14, from 3:00 p. m. To 6:00 p. m.
5 € per person. Open to children ages 5 and up.
Free for adults accompanying children under 12.
