Actions and Reinterpretations of the Found Image.

A week-long workshop with David De Beyter, the 2020 recipient of our Research and Creation Support Program, at the University of Picardie Jules Verne.  Students are invited to work with a body of images that are not their own. The challenge is to identify ways to reappropriate, reinterpret, and reenact—through staging—a body of images or a specific iconography that the students did not create themselves.
