Temple Books

The Institute and Temple / Gallery and Publishing House invite fifteen contemporary publishers to spend a weekend showcasing creativity in the ways books are conceived, produced, and distributed.
Over the past ten years, many publishing practices have expanded significantly, and the production and distribution of photography books have never been more abundant and diverse. Artists and authors, booksellers and independent publishers, critics and designers have all helped open up new perspectives in the publishing world, where formats, content, and subjects are being both questioned and experimented with.
This first edition of Temple Books brings together a selection of French, Belgian, and Dutch publishers, as well as regional players in the field of photography publishing.
