Annual Meeting of the Canadian Historical Association

The SHC is organizing its annual meeting from June 3 to 5, 2019, as part of the Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences, which is held each year in a different Canadian city. 

Between 350 and 500 historians gather to share their research on topics that reflect the full diversity of the discipline and to network with their colleagues.

As part of the conference  New Perspectives in the History of Media in Europe and the Americas   of the Annual Meeting of the Canadian Historical Association , Audrey Leblanc, a recipient of the Institut pour la photographie’s Research and Creation Support Program, will speak on the topic Sharing Its Representation of the World and Society: Agency Photograph Collections Used as Editorial Support for the ORTF’s [Office de Radiodiffusion Télévision Française] Television News Programs (1960–1986)
