MASCARADES AND CARNIVALS

With the kind collaboration of Château Coquelle of Dunkirk and the Musée international du Carnaval et du Masque of Binche 

This exhibition presents European carnivals through the diverse approaches of ten internationally recognised artists with one thing in common – recording the deeply ritualistic nature of the carnival. The presented series will be an opportunity to focus on the traditional iconography of this popular event.
